          Launched by Miss Mary Gillies Thompson on 24th May 1845 and performed her first run from Glasgow to Gourock, Dunoon and Rothesay on Saturday 28th June 1845. She was known as "the fastest on the Clyde" and sailed from Rothesay to Glasgow in 2 hours, 28 minutes; but was very tender and was scrapped when quite new, her steeple engine being installed in Dunrobin Castle in 1846.
